Sending Inter-library loans

During the closure of the Cannon Hill facility there will be a change to the procedure for loans from RLQ to Independent libraries. When you return an item reserved by an Independent library the pop-up message will now display the pickup location as “Direct to Library”. When you have one of these items in hand please follow these steps:

  • Identify any items that display the pickup location as “Direct To Library”
  • Loan the item (no transfer is required) to the Independent library as for any other user
  • Package and send the item to the Independent library as you would for any RLQ library
