AustLit: authoritative information on creative and critical Australian literature works. Access is provided via the RLQ catalogue by searching 'austlit'.

BlackWords: the most comprehensive record of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander publications available, covering all forms of creative writing, plus film, television, criticism and scholarship. Log in to  Austlit to access BlackWords.

BorrowBox – ebooks and eaudiobooks

Latest Australian titles in ebooks or eaudiobooks.

Library members can download up to 4 titles every 14 days for each format from the BorrowBox website or download the app. The books are very easy to download but if you need some assistance view these guides:

QROC provides access to the OverDrive digital collection which contains eaudiobooks and ebooks from thousands of publishers and content suppliers.

  • Create an account. (All users need their own account. You are required to do this once only).

  • Select MAGAZINES to browse the RLQ collection.
  • Browse to sort or filter your selection OR search by title.
  • CHECKOUT a magazine of your choice.
  • Select the prompt to be emailed when next issue is available if you want to keep that magazine as a favourite.
