5. Despatch

This loan procedures manual has been produced for Queensland Independent public library staff using the resources provided at State Library.

Due to renovations of the Cannon Hill facility loans from and visits to Public Library Services have been temporarily suspended. Titles can be reserved via the RLQ Catalogue and borrowed from other RLQ libraries. No boxes will be accepted at Cannon Hill during renovation. Please keep your returns in your library until further notice. Stay tuned for updates.

5. Despatch

We aim to provide a reliable service within reasonable time constraints, using a number of courier services, some only particular to your library. The main freight suppliers are Australia Post, NQX, and local government provided courier services.

Requests are transferred and despatched daily.

All formats are packed into cardboard boxes or jiffy bags and sent by Australia Post and NQX. If you believe a consignment has gone missing, please contact the Despatch Supervisor, PLD on 1800 017 114.
