Travel Bursaries available for the Innovation in Public Libraries Professional Development event in Townsville this August!
The Innovation in Public Libraries - Regional Professional Development event is delivered in partnership by Townsville CityLibraries and State Library of Queensland. Registration and participation in the program is free and State Library of Queensland is also offering a Travel Bursary of up to $750 per person to encourage individuals from regional Queensland public libraries and Indigenous Knowledge Centres to attend.
To apply for a Travel Bursary, read the Bursary Guidelines (DOCX 50.5 KB) and submit a completed application form (Part A), and a response to the selection criteria (Part B).

This event will include workshops with SLQ's Creative in Residence Dr Matt Finch, learn about the Design Minds process and how it can be applied to Design Thinking for Libraries, and be inspired by innovative ways to implement coding and robotics activities in libraries.
