Improve your digital literacy online

Do you want to learn how to improve your fluency in digital literacy to improve your everyday work as a library and information professional?

The new online course Test Your Digital Literacy Fluency makes it easier for library staff to focus on improving their digital literacy fluency for free.

Developed by New Zealand librarian Sally Pewhairangi, Test Your Digital Literacy Fluency recognises that while library and information professionals may assist others in improving their digital literacy skills it is difficult to grasp what digital literacy means and how it can be applied in practice to the everyday work of all library and information professionals.

This course will benefit all library and information professionals who want to be familiar with the essential components of digital literacy and recognise their level of fluency, including how they can improve, in each component.

Content is delivered in bite-sized lessons. There’s no need to take staff out of the library and as an added bonus library staff come away with a one-page blueprint to enable them to easily apply their learning to their job.

This course is delivered online and is self-paced and facilitated.
