Travel Bursaries available for RLQ professional development this April

State Library of Queensland is offering travel bursaries of up to $500 to staff from RLQ libraries and Indigenous Knowledge Centres to participate in the Rural Libraries Queensland professional development event to be held in Brisbane across 3 days this April (12-14 April 2016).

This year the Rural Libraries Queensland professional development event is being held in the same week as the Future Libraries professional development event hosted by the Queensland Public Libraries Association, giving RLQ staff the opportunity to attend both.

Registration and participation in both programs is free, but to encourage participation in these events, SLQ is offering small bursaries to assist Council in meeting the costs of attendance. To apply, read the bursary guidelines   (PDF 43.9 KB)and submit a completed application form (Part A), and responses to selection criteria (Part B).
